LUXON phase-out
In February of this year we announced that we would be bringing our investments in LUXON, our wireless light management platform, into line with the change in demand we are seeing in the market. Over the past few months, we have had productive talks about this with our customers. Based on these talks, we have now decided to fully withdraw from the market. This means that, from today onwards, we will no longer issue new LUXON price lists.
The phase-out of Luxon will be gradual. Given our aim to make this process as smooth as possible, we have defined clear basic principles for the validity of price lists, warranty provisions and other relevant subjects. We will explain this below.
Ordering process and last time buy
The LUXON products will remain orderable until March 31st 2023 and we will be concentrating solely on maintaining a stock of hardware needed to meet current obligations and for spare parts. For new orders, we will assess overall pricing and product availability to determine whether or not we can fulfil the request.
Since our inventory is reducing fast, we strongly advise you to order in good time. The orders placed will be dispatched by Nedap no later than June 30th 2023.
Luxon Cloud
As of January 1st 2023, no new subscriptions for Luxon Cloud will be issued and existing subscriptions will be terminated during the course of the year as per date of expiration.
Warranty provisions and support
Nedap (on-site) commissioning service remains available until December 31st 2023.
The service and warranty provisions for LUXON products purchased in the past will continue to be effective. Products purchased until March 31st 2023 will be subject to our standard service and warranty provisions.
Our support desk will continue to be available to help you with any queries. RMA requests will be handled by our operations desk until March 31st 2028.
